Willie Simpson
Willie Simpson is a freelance journalist and screenwriter and has been writing regularly about beer since 1988 and is widely regarded as Australia’s leading beer writer. His weekly column The Brew appears in the Sydney Morning Herald and The Melbourne Age. He is a regular contributor to Uncorked Magazine and his beer writing has appeared in Gourmet Traveller, Australian Wine, Winestate, Australian Playboy and The Sydney Morning Herald under the Nome De Plume Angus Flynn.
Willie recently opened his own boutique brewery and tasting centre Seven Sheds, at Railton in northern Tasmania.
